Radiesse

Radiesse® is an advanced injectable treatment that does more than simply add volume. Made with calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres suspended in a smooth gel, Radiesse provides immediate support and contour while also stimulating your skin’s natural production of collagen and elastin.

How Does Radiesse Work?

Radiesse works through two complementary mechanisms. Immediate support: The injectable gel provides structure and subtle contouring in the treated area. Long-term collagen stimulation: Over time, the CaHA microspheres act as a biostimulatory scaffold, encouraging the skin to produce new collagen and elastin. As the gel component is gradually metabolized, your own collagen becomes an increasingly important part of the result. This biostimulatory approach can help improve the appearance of skin laxity, crepey texture, elasticity, and loss of definition while supporting a natural-looking result.

Where Can Radiesse Be Used?

Radiesse is highly versatile and can be used to address both facial structure and overall skin quality. Depending on your anatomy and treatment goals, areas that may be treated include:

  • Cheeks and midface
  • Jawline and lower face
  • Chin
  • Pre-jowl area
  • Nasolabial and marionette regions
  • Temples and other areas of volume loss, when appropriate
  • Neck
  • Décolleté
  • Hands

For facial treatments, Radiesse can be used strategically to restore structure, enhance definition, and stimulate collagen. In some treatment plans, it is used in a more diluted or hyperdiluted formulation to focus primarily on improving skin quality and firmness rather than creating traditional filler-like volume.

Your injector will determine the appropriate technique, dilution, and treatment areas based on your individual anatomy and goals.

Why We Love Radiesse for the Neck

The neck is one of our favorite areas to incorporate Radiesse—particularly when the goal is to improve skin laxity, crepiness, and loss of definition rather than simply add volume.

At Bloom Aesthetics & Wellness, we can strategically combine Radiesse with other aesthetic treatments, including hyaluronic acid (HA) filler and neurotoxin, to address the neck from multiple angles.

This combination can be used to:

  • Improve the appearance of loose or lax skin
  • Improve crepey skin texture
  • Stimulate collagen and elastin
  • Enhance definition along the jawline and lower face
  • Soften the appearance of horizontal neck lines
  • Reduce the appearance of prominent platysmal bands when neurotoxin is appropriate
  • Restore strategic support with HA filler when indicated

Rather than relying on a single treatment, a combination approach allows us to address the underlying structure, muscle activity, and skin quality simultaneously.

What Can You Expect?

Radiesse results are both immediate and progressive. Some improvement may be visible shortly after treatment, while the collagen-stimulating effects develop gradually over the following weeks and months.

Because every patient has different anatomy, skin quality, and degree of laxity, your treatment plan—including product placement, dilution, and whether Radiesse is combined with other treatments—is customized during your consultation.

Radiesse is not a replacement for surgical lifting, and results vary from person to person. However, for the right patient, it can be an exceptional nonsurgical option for improving skin quality, firmness, structure, and definition.
